Your stream profile
A stream profile is the set of rules your organisation captures material under: which fields are asked on a product spec, which measures a run must balance, what one passport covers, the words your operators see, the photo categories, and the evidence every batch should carry.
RezetHub publishes stream profiles. When your organisation is set up, it receives a copy of the profile for its material at the version then current. Your copy does not change when RezetHub publishes a new version. You choose when to move.
Where to find it
Section titled “Where to find it”Open Your stream profile from the menu under your name. It is for organisation administrators only.
The page is headed Your stream profile, at the version you hold. It shows:
- The version you hold, when it was applied and by whom, the profile’s Key, and the version New lots capture under.
- A band saying either that you are Up to date (Nothing waiting), or that There is a newer version of this profile.
- The cost, and it is real: how long a newer version has been available. Batches captured under an older version are still valid under that version, but they are not current with the framework. This line is the only reminder RezetHub gives.
- Versions of this profile: every version, with when each was applied or published.
If the page says This organisation has no stream profile enabled, so nothing governs its captures yet, contact RezetHub.
Moving to a newer version
Section titled “Moving to a newer version”- In the band, press See what changes. The table lists every field that changes, with its value In version you hold, its value In version you would move to, and What it means for a new lot. Anything not listed reads the same in both versions.
- Each change is tagged:
- Added: a new question on the intake screen. Nothing recorded before gains the field or is marked as missing it.
- Asked harder: the field becomes more required from the first batch recorded under the new version. Batches already recorded keep the level they were taken under.
- Fewer readers: the value reaches a narrower audience. Values already captured keep their audience.
- More answers: a list of answers gains entries. Every value already recorded still resolves.
- Passport: what one passport covers changes for new batches. Passports already issued are not reissued.
- Words: a default word changes. Nothing already recorded is renamed.
- Press Apply version … — there is no way back.
- Read the confirmation and press Apply version … — there is no way back again, or Stay on version … to keep the version you hold.
Only the governed part of the profile changes between versions: the fields, the measures and what a passport covers. Your material list, your kinds of work and the words your operators see belong to your organisation, and no published version rewrites them.
The textile profile
Section titled “The textile profile”The textile profile is for organisations that collect, sort and remake textiles.
Words, kinds of work and photo categories
Section titled “Words, kinds of work and photo categories”- A lot is called a Batch, a transfer a Consignment, and a transform a Run. Your organisation can change these words under Settings > Vocabulary.
- Kinds of work: Collect, Wash, Sort, Measure, Count, Sew bags and Bale.
- Photo categories: Front, Back, Label, Weighbridge ticket and Contamination.
Measures and passports
Section titled “Measures and passports”- Mass is weighed, and it is the measure a run must balance: what goes in must be accounted for in what comes out.
- Area, count and length can be recorded too, but they do not have to balance.
- One passport covers one batch.

Nothing is ticked off by hand. RezetHub reads each item off the record.
