AI credits

RezetHub’s AI features are paid for in AI credits: assistant answers, drawn views and dashboards, photo category suggestions, email triage and phone calls. Each organisation has its own balance.

You are charged for what the work actually used, as reported by the AI provider, never a flat price per action. A short question costs less than a long one.

1 credit is $0.01 of AI provider cost. A charge is the provider’s cost rounded up to the next whole credit.

RezetHub only runs AI work on models it has a price for, so no work is ever charged at a guessed rate.

Your organisation’s balance has two parts:

  1. Monthly allowance. Granted for each calendar month (UTC) and spent first. Whatever is left at the end of the month expires.
  2. Purchased credits. Bought in packs. They never expire, and are spent only once the month’s allowance is used up.

Allowances and purchases are set up by the RezetHub team for now. To add credits, contact us.

This covers an assistant answer (including any steps it takes along the way), a drawn view, a question about an image, a photo’s category suggestion and the triage of an incoming email.

  1. Hold. Before the work starts, RezetHub holds the most it could cost.
  2. Run. The work runs.
  3. Settle. When it finishes, you are charged what the provider reported using, and the rest of the hold is returned. Purchased credits are returned first, because they never expire.
  4. Refund. If the work fails, the whole hold is returned.
  • A piece of work is never charged twice, even if it is retried.
  • A hold that is never settled, for example because the work crashed, is returned after 30 minutes.
  • If your balance is at or below zero, or too low to cover the hold, the work does not run. Nothing else is blocked: a photo, for example, simply arrives without a suggested category.
  • A call is charged after each minute, from the audio the provider reported. A dropped and reconnected call is never charged twice for the same minute.
  • A call in progress is never cut off for lack of credit. This is the one charge that can take your balance below zero.
  • Before answering, RezetHub checks that your balance is above zero. If it is not, the caller is offered voicemail instead.

While your balance is at or below zero, every feature that needs credits stops. Your next allowance or purchase pays off the deficit first.

If your month’s allowance has not been used yet while there is a deficit, RezetHub uses it to pay the deficit down, so the allowance does not expire unused while everything is stopped.

  • Home page: an organisation admin sees a meter of how much of this month’s allowance is left.
  • Disputing a charge: every charge keeps the AI provider’s own usage report, so a disputed charge can be priced again from the record. Contact the RezetHub team if a charge looks wrong.
