Capture and photo proof
RezetHub records a weight only against a photograph. The photographs are the proof, and they are taken on a phone. There are two ways in:
- Scan a capture code shown on a desk screen. Any phone works and needs no RezetHub account.
- The Capture screen, for a signed-in operator on the floor who wants to photograph a measurement and record it in one go.
Hand off to a phone
Section titled “Hand off to a phone”Where a record needs photographs, the desk screen offers a code to scan:
- on a batch’s weighing screen, Hand off to a phone (shown until something has been photographed against the batch);
- on each output of a run, Show the code (or Show the code · add photos once there are photos).
Scan the code with any phone camera. The phone opens the capture page and names what it is capturing at the top, so you can check you scanned the right one. No login is needed: the code is the permission.
On the phone
Section titled “On the phone”- Step 1 of 2 · the scale. Where a weight is being established, the phone first asks Is there a scale you can photograph?
- Select Photograph the scale and fill the frame with the reading; or
- select No scale, skip this. Skipping costs nothing; the weight just starts empty and somebody types it at the desk.
- Step 2 of 2 · the material. Select Add and take a few angles of the material. The phone’s own menu lets you take a photo, record a short video, or choose a file already on the phone. A photo taken before anyone opened RezetHub is still evidence. Select Add more for further shots.
- Select Continue. At least one photograph of the material is needed; this step cannot be skipped.
When everything has gone, the phone shows Sent to the desk and you can put it away. The photos appear on the desk screen as they arrive.
No signal
Section titled “No signal”Photos are kept on the phone until they can be sent. Each one shows Waiting for signal, Sending… or Sent, and the phone shows Held on this phone with a count. They go up on their own when there is signal, even if you close the page. Select Send now to try straight away.
How long a code lasts
Section titled “How long a code lasts”A capture code stays open for a limited time (30 minutes by default); the phone shows Open until and the time. If the code has expired, or the desk closed it, the phone says This code no longer works. Ask the desk for a new one.
Photos taken under a code that has since closed show Cannot be sent. Ask for a new code and add them again. Remove from this phone deletes them from the phone for good; they never reached the desk.
The Capture screen
Section titled “The Capture screen”Open Capture in the menu (shown as Field capture). Use it to photograph a measurement on a run’s output and record it in one step, online or off.
- Choose the Processing run and the Output the figure measures.
- Under Evidence photo, select Take photo and photograph the scale, label or gauge that shows the figure. Retake photo replaces it.
- Under Measurement, check the Value, the Unit and when it was Measured on.
- Select Confirm & record.
A photo is required before you can confirm. Discard reading drops an unrecorded reading and its photo from the device; nothing reaches the record.
Offline, the button reads Save to queue. Saved captures appear under Pending captures and sync when you reconnect; select Sync now to try at once. A capture is never recorded twice, even if it is sent again after a poor connection.
Removing a photo
Section titled “Removing a photo”A photo is never deleted from the record; it is withdrawn, with a reason, and the withdrawal itself goes on the record. See Prove each output on Runs. The only photo on an output cannot be removed, because one is the minimum.
