Partners
Your partner book lists the companies your organisation sends material to and receives it from. Naming a partner here lets a batch, a delivery or an outside run point at the row instead of retyping the company each time.
The book is your own statement about who you deal with. Nobody named in it is told, asked or bound by it, and a partner row never makes a measurement stronger or weaker. Two organisations naming the same company each keep their own row.
Where to find it
Section titled “Where to find it”Open Settings > Partners (headed Who you deal with). Settings is for organisation administrators. The partner book is only there if your organisation has contacts switched on.
Your partner book lists each partner with its Binding, Where you use them and Contact. Use All, On the platform or Off platform to filter it.
Adding a partner
Section titled “Adding a partner”- Press Add a partner.
- Fill in the form:
- Company name: what your operators call them. Leave it blank to use the registered name.
- Registered name: their registered company name, as it reads on the register.
- Registration number: ABN, VAT or trade register number. Leave it blank when there is none.
- Their RezetHub handle, if they have one.
- Where you use them: in your own words, for example Outside runs · cut and sew.
- Main contact person: press Choose a contact to pick someone from your own contact book, or leave it as No contact recorded.
- Press Add this partner, or Discard changes.
With a handle, or without
Section titled “With a handle, or without”- The company is on RezetHub. Ask them for their handle and enter it. If it resolves, the row is bound to their organisation: every run and delivery that names them points to a real organisation, and the registered name comes from their record rather than from your form. The row shows RezetHub organisation · handle followed by the handle.
- The company is not on RezetHub. Leave the handle blank. The row stands on the registered name and number and shows as off platform.
A bound row still does not mean the partner agrees with anything you record. Their own facts are the ones they record in their own organisation.
Some rows show staff assisted or RezetHub organisation · bound at onboarding. RezetHub staff added those for you when your organisation was set up.
Your own organisation’s handle is the part after /o/ in the address of your Settings pages. Give it to partners who want to add you.
Opening, editing and removing
Section titled “Opening, editing and removing”- Open shows the row as stored: Registered name, Registration number, Counterparty, How it was bound, Contact, Designated and Last edited. Close this partner closes it.
- Edit details opens the same form on the existing row. Press Save changes to this partner. The handle cannot be changed here.
- Remove asks Remove … from your book?. Press Remove — deleted for good, or Keep this partner.
No personal data on a partner
Section titled “No personal data on a partner”A partner row never holds a person’s name, email or phone number. The Main contact person is a reference to a row in your own contact book, and the name is looked up from there when you open it. A company name is not a person, which is why the registered name and number are stored openly.
